ALPHABET is a comics anthology with LGBTQAI contributors drawn from previous winners of and outstanding applicants to the Prism Comics Queer Press Grant. It will also showcase the work of industry veterans who have been pioneers in queer comics and talented newcomers whose fresh voices document emerging identities and perspectives in our community.

What is the Queer Press Grant?

The Prism Comics Queer Press Grant was founded in 2005 to support up and coming LGBTQAI cartoonists. Prism Comics is the only organization in North America which provides a grant to emerging comics talent. Past winners include Steve MacIsaac (Shirtlifter), Ed Luce (Wuvable Oaf), Blue Delliquanti (O Human Star), and Christine Smith (The Princess). To learn more about the QPG visit prismcomics.org.
